This video was captured using the actual game on an actual Super Nintendo.

Among other games that made me the racing game freak I am today we have Nigel Mansell's World Championship. I actually did not seek out this game back in the day when it came out. I discovered this game at an all night lock-in with my church youth group. I brought the Super Nintendo and a few games and someone else brought this game. Funny thing was after we had popped this game in, it didn't come back out of my console until the light of day. I took turns with the only other person who was awake with me and between the both of us we completed the game.

This game is still very playable today and offers a great amount of challenge. For those who don't find this game challenging enough you can turn on simulation handling which can make a grown man cry in incredible frustration. There is however no need to amp up the difficulty as there is plenty of it to be had especially when it rains. Compared to other F1 games at the time, Nigel Mansell was very fast and very smooth with much better gameplay IMO over Super Monaco GP on the Genesis. The game still holds up very well today, not as a simulation game, but a great, solid, and fast racing game.

This game is cheap cheap cheap. I bought this game for a dollar. This is among the best racing games on the Super Nintendo. This game should not be confused with "Newman/Haas Indy Car featuring Nigel Mansell" which is not even close to as good as this title. Pick this game up if you see it.
