"But Ownage, arcade mode sucks, and CPU fights are nothing like actual matches!"

That's right... to a degree. However, in some cases, fighting the CPU, espicially on Hell difficulty, can be sometimes more of a challenge than fighting actual players. And by that, I don't mean that I'm a top tier player, not by any means, nor that the CPU is better than playing actual players. But you won't really see players backdashing just about everything, nor Tagers 720-ing basically everything you try!

I figured I might try something a bit different this time : instead of more combo video or combo stuff, I decided to throw some actual gameplay into the mix. And as you can see, it's obvious how well it turned out, haha.

To any aspiring or newcoming players to the series, you may know the best combos in the world, you may do a combo that cross-ups 5 times and is basically the most appealing eye-candy you can think of, you may have a combo that deals 6k damage, but if your game elsewhere is sub-par, you won't be getting much out of it. A lesson learned the hard way.

Have fun watching me drop awkward confirms, doing some very dumb scrambles and some big normal whiffs that will make you look cross-eyed for sure.

In all seriousness, Arcade was a pretty great diversion from all the combo video stuff that I've been doing so far. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to reach any of the Unlimited bosses, but I'm content with the result as is (I'm actually glad I made it past fights like Tager, Amane and base Nine without a match loss!).

I'm not sure when will my next bigger video (probably an MBF/BlazBlue collab combo vid) be in the works as school is getting tenser and stricter as we are inevitably nearing May (finals) but we shall see how things will turn out.

Feel free to leave your opinions and suggestions down below : was this run satisfactory? Should I be doing more such runs? Should I stick with combo videos instead? Should there be another Unlimited (CPEX) showcase? Should there be other games showcased (perhaps MBF or Magicka)? Or maybe something else entirely?
