Some IAD (instant airdash) combos with Jin. Concepts that are sure to make it in a later video.

Recently, ideas for new combos have been on a quite low compared to prior times. While I cannot say I have absolutely exhausted Ragna, Jin and Hazama options, among others, I figured it might be quite monotonous to see such combos over and over for those who have already watched prior videos (for those who are long-time fans of BlazBlue and have been watching other combo videos, even more so!)

I really wanted to do a Tager combo video, but with a removal of tons of options compared to Chronophantasma (5D wallbounce and 5C - 6C, among others), I couldn't really find anything noteworthy other than stupid GF - Spark Bolt combos, so I turned to the next best thing. IAD combos.

IAD, also known as instant airdash, is basically just that. An airdash done right after jumping. While this is most often used as a movement and rushdown tool, there are actually quite a handful of combos which can fit one of these in as well. Although in the case of combos, this can be misleading, as during combos, specific delays are often needed to keep the combo going, unlike when using IADs as a movement option, in which case, the airdash is done as soon as possible. As prime examples, Jin's 2D (as showcased), Ragna's 6A, Jin's 2C have enough hitstun for IAD attacks to combo after them. There are others out there, I'm sure of it, but I haven't done extensive testing on this yet.

IAD combos are probably one of the hardest combo types out there, depending on what you're trying to do. Falling j.2C into Rehhyou (C DP) with Jin is one of the hardest things to get down consistently, because if you do your moves too high up, you cannot do Rehhyou in time for it to combo, and if you do them too low, the j.2C won't come out and then they can tech. Of course, you also need to end up close enough for the following microdash 5B (or 2A, if 5B is too hard) to connect.

So... yeah. These short clips are basically just that. A showcase of IAD in combos. After I'm done with my exam period (which lasts till the first half of June, which means there'll be quite a lot to study, and also was/is the reason for the recent inactivity), I'll be likely doing a video focusing on IAD combos and some of the new stuff I have found in the shorter periods of free time I've been having. Later on, I might add more MBF (Magical Battle Festa) combos, but due to that game's nature (bots or your friend or enemies interrupting combos) there wouldn't be too much of a point showcasing stuff that is basically impossible to execute in actual matches (unlike combo video stuff which IS possible, just extremely impractical).
