Nothing to really mention in terms of different EL builds so let's just jump right into it shall we?

Blue-D's primary element is water with moves like Aqua Rake, El Nino, and Tsunami. Also has Sleep & SleepX so protection against that is a good idea.

Of course, when I say primary element, Blue-D employs a backup element in the form of Storm. Even has a non elemental option in Blow Fish.

So, you're thinking...shouldn't be a problem going all out with bolt element attacks to capitalize on its weakness, right? Nope. His magic attack counter isn't something like Aqua Rake or El Nino, but rather Storm. This alone can make it easy for you to wipe if you're not expecting this.

For me, the strategy was to have as many ways to mitigate both water & wind damage as possible. Rex & Zero have Gold Helms for water resistance. Rex is using the Snow Muffler for wind immunity while Zero gets wind resist via the Crystal Mail.

As for Gau, he had wind resist via the Dragon Hide. Once his opening setup is complete (Bserk on X, then HasteX for a quick speed buff), he starts using the Exocite rage. Besides Plasma hitting for a quite decent amount, it provides water immunity.

As for X? This is where the counter issue with Storm becomes manifest. Thank lord he's got a giant sized amount of hp because a Tsunami + Storm counter would put him into critical from full health. It's not a situation that should really present itself that often thankfully. Besides, he's breaking the damn dragon's face off with 6k Stormfang hits while berserked (bonus if a strike procs Bolt for some extra damage). 12-13k per time he acts? Damn straight! Of course, getting knocked to the back row due to Polarity counters sucks, but that's still a good 6k per turn.

Of course, how does he end the fight? The same way he did the previous one...by throwing in a crit (and a random Bolt proc to boot).

One more optional dragon to deal with before having to hunt down the others in KT.
