Description:
The king of Ildria was overthrown in a coup and was replaced by Ry'jin, a madman who covets the power of dragons. To that end, he kidnapped and killed all but one dragon to power his Vulcan Cannon, which he uses to rule Ildria with an iron fist. As the last free dragon, Az'uar must obtain the Soul Gems of the Great Seven, granting him the power he needs to make a stand against Ry'jin so he can free his siblings and save Ildria.

0:00 Rast's Betrayal
Rast stops halfway in the Akheli Vice path and reveals that he suddenly decided to kill Az'uar to prevent his DNA from falling into Ry'jin's hands. And he's willing to kill Kelburn and Xandra to do it, even though doing so would doom the Saphirites anyway.
1:19 Boss: Rast
His minions have an inaccurate AOE skill that Xandra can learn, but it's probably not worth it.
5:10 Passing on the Rune Blade
As Rast dies from his wounds, he realizes he was wrong to try to kill his allies. He gives his Rune Blade, Naegling, to Kelburn and passes away. The party decides to hide Rast's betrayal from the Saphirites and claim that he got lost in the vice, a place that he most likely traveled through countless times. Seriously, why didn't Ardoc call them out on such a flimsy lie?
Rolan steps into the room and announces his plan to lure Gyle onto the bridge north of the garrison, and then blow the bridge up. We have to meet him in the grove south of the garrison.
10:00 Second Stealth Mission
The Nether Garrison now has blue guards, who can inhale a single rune. The patrol paths are also different, allowing you to find a path north. Don't forget that Az'uar can climb ladders, which is necessary to get past the last two guards to the north.
19:42 Boss: Reaver
Ry'jin started implanting his soldiers with synthetic dragon DNA, but the process is imperfect and turned them into rampaging mutants. This Reaver has the Pandora's Box skill, but I have no idea what it does and it only seems to use it once.
23:53 Prepping the Bridge
With the Reaver and bridge guards out of the way, Rolan is free to rig the bridge to explode. You'll be taken out of the grove and will be given a chance to save before doing another strategy board.

At first, the enemy soldiers won't move at all, making it hard to do anything to them without taking ranged damage. Eventually, Gyle will spawn as an enemy hero unit, and can move two spaces if the first move doesn't result in an enemy encounter. The other enemies will start moving as well and can be killed, but Gyle is invincible. You need to keep a balance of strong units to deal with the non-boss enemies and weak units to keep Gyle distracted. To win, you must lure him onto the bridge tile
BTW, this might be the perfect map to get the "Lonesome Hero" CP bonus, since you'll probably sacrifice all your units to slow down Gyle.
47:48 Taking Over Nether Garrison
The plan works and Gyle is dropped into the river, carrying him downstream. He's probably still alive though.
The Nether Garrison is now under the Saphirites' control, so you can grab any treasure or shards you missed. There is also a fetch quest that requires you to grab an artist's supplies from Alden and bring it back to the Garrison.

The third round has enemies that can inflict Blind level 2, which is basically confusion. It's important that you equip blind charm to survive this round. Az'uar's prize will allow him to evolve twice as fast, which means each rune inhalation counts as two for evolution purposes, not combat purposes.
1:13:46 Final Evolution
My two available triple element evolutions are Saint Dragon and Gaia Dragon. The former gets an auto-revive skill while the latter gets immunity to all ailments. I went with Gaia Dragon because of how annoying the second level ailments are.
