Description:
The king of Ildria was overthrown in a coup and was replaced by Ry'jin, a madman who covets the power of dragons. To that end, he kidnapped and killed all but one dragon to power his Vulcan Cannon, which he uses to rule Ildria with an iron fist. As the last free dragon, Az'uar must obtain the Soul Gems of the Great Seven, granting him the power he needs to make a stand against Ry'jin so he can free his siblings and save Ildria.

0:00 Betrayed and Captured
When we meet Rolan at Mythra Falls, Duke Bagleo comes in with a squad of Ryjin's soldiers, intending to betray us. Rolan tells Az'uar and Mythra to hop on the raft and flee while he stays behind. Unfortunately, when we get to a bridge, Gyle jumps on the raft and fights us. He has extremely high stats and will inhale three runes in the time it takes for you to inhale one or two, so it's not possible to beat him. He'll kidnap Xandra while leaving an unconscious Az'uar on the raft.
7:30 Soul Gem Conference
The soul gems we have on hand discuss how hopeless the situation seems, since Gyle is far stronger than any dragon. They consider using a forbidden ritual, the Tiamat Sacrament, to defeat Ry'jin, but they need six out of seven of their ranks to agree.
9:14 Kelburn Joins
Az'uar is wounded and can barely move, but Kelburn shows up to save him from some razor fish. Kelburn is underleveled at this point, but you can rectify this by continuing through the Merholm Lake path. You'll find a shopkeeper/inn, where you can grind Kelburn to a sufficient level. You'll also learn about the lilypad hopping mechanic, where hopping on a lilypad causes all adjacent lilypads to flip.

At the entrance, Kelburn explains that Rune Blades are made from the souls of dragons, which angers Az'uar. There are only nine of them because of the scarcity of strong dragon souls.

These puzzles are quite difficult. The solution for the first puzzle is posted in the RPGMaker.net page, but the dev neglected to post a solution to get the dragon shard.

You have to get to the other side first. Unlike me, make sure to walk ahead to the save point first, just so you don't have to resolve the first puzzle if you fail.

The dev didn't post a solution to this, so you're stuck with me! This is actually the exact same map as the first puzzle, but with the water level raised so you can get to the other side. This also grants access to the chest that was too high up before.

The dev posted a solution for this puzzle, despite it being much easier than the first two.

Kelburn is surprised to see Xetoa appear, but Xetoa is not pleased to see us. Like Unoquil, he wants to kill Az'uar before the empire can harvest his DNA.

Since Xandra isn't here, you won't be able to pull off the more complex Rune combos. Kelburn can temporarily gain new abilities based on the currently swallowed Runes, but it's not practical to use Runes right now. You'll need to equip Stun Charm on at least one party member to protect against Paralyze Breath. Unlike me, you may want to put it on Kelburn so he can heal Az'uar.
37:23 Xetoa's Soul Gem
Xetoa acknowledges Az'uar's growth and hands over his soul gem, granting Az'uar some knowledge about the Tiamat Sacrament. However, the price of the ritual will doom dragonkind, but the details are unknown. Our next step is to go to the Saphirite hideout, Alden. From there, we can go to the Sildric Spire, where Tamanir is sealed.
