Description:
The king of Ildria was overthrown in a coup and was replaced by Ry'jin, a madman who covets the power of dragons. To that end, he kidnapped and killed all but one dragon to power his Vulcan Cannon, which he uses to rule Ildria with an iron fist. As the last free dragon, Az'uar must obtain the Soul Gems of the Great Seven, granting him the power he needs to make a stand against Ry'jin so he can free his siblings and save Ildria.

0:00 Sildric Spire
The Sildric Spire core is west of the Alden hideout, and the party notices that there's a huge opening in the ceiling. Kelburn claims the enemy probably won't use it to invade the hideout due to how high up the hole is, but Az'uar and Xandra are still worried. Eventually, the party will find a dead end where there's a single glyph on the wall. The glyph says underneath, and Xandra falls down a hole, with the rest of the party jumping after her.
This dungeon has mythril platforms that bob up and down, and you have to time your jumps to get across each section. The first few seem simple enough, but then comes the more complex one.
6:07 Levers and Platforms
You can pull levers to force the corresponding marked platforms to bob, but you also have to time your lever pulling so that you actually have a window of opportunity to jump from one type of platform to the next. To get the dragon shard, you have to jump into it from the south. You'll fall in the lava, but you'll still obtain the shard.
9:10 Unsealing Tamanir
Tamanir reveals that he's actually Az'uar's father, but this angers Az'uar, since this means Tamanir voted against his wife, Ilisrei. Tamanir isn't bothered by these accusations and the boss battle commences.

Tamanir will use Lung Crush whenever Az'uar tries to inhale. However, you can have Xandra learn this skill for herself and use it against any rune inhaling enemy. The next enemy with this skill probably won't appear for a while, so prepare a lot of runes to swallow and bait Tamanir's AI into using Lung Crush until Xandra learns it.
16:21 The Loophole
Tamanir states that he's proud of Az'uar for growing so strong, but Az'uar wants none of that. After Tamanir turns into a Soul Gem, we see his memories showing that he only voted with the rest of the Great Dragons, but only if they added a clause where another dragon can unseal them. This was a secret plan between him and Ilisrei to ensure their children can get all the Soul Gems. Az'uar regrets lashing out at his father, but his party notes that Tamanir was still understanding of him. Plus, the Soul Gems still seem to be sentient anyways.
Be sure to return to Merholm Grotto and open Tamanir's door, since it contains the Alden Relay, which allows you to teleport back to the Saphirite base.
23:46 Strategy Board 2
Back at camp, enter the westmost house with the lamp, where you'll learn that Ry'jin's soldiers are invading from the north, west, and east. Yes, that hole Kelburn told us not to worry about was actually important.
The goal is to protect the three pillars, or the entire cavern will collapse. While you have access to Rangers and Berserkers, this is still really difficult, since enemies constantly and randomly spawn. The paths are also narrow and filled with lava, making it hard to defend the pillars. You may have to suicide attack with a few units or even have the hero unit fight. Eventually, you'll get a cutscene where the enemies' entrance routes are cut off, preventing any more from spawning. You can then finish the rest of the enemies off.

Afterwards, you'll be placed in a one-time version of the Alden map, where everyone is drinking. You can switch between all the main characters can have conversations with various NPCs. Kelburn also has romance options, and it's a shame there's no save point in this map. If you want to pick a different option, you'll have to redo the whole tactics battle. I paired him with Xandra, since this will get her a powerful piece of gear that teaches her a useful skill. Hashtag CuckTalis and CuckRolan.
