Description:
The king of Ildria was overthrown in a coup and was replaced by Ry'jin, a madman who covets the power of dragons. To that end, he kidnapped and killed all but one dragon to power his Vulcan Cannon, which he uses to rule Ildria with an iron fist. As the last free dragon, Az'uar must obtain the Soul Gems of the Great Seven, granting him the power he needs to make a stand against Ry'jin so he can free his siblings and save Ildria.

0:00 Meeting Talis
Continue through the path until you reach a fork, where you'll meet Talis, a spy within the Nether Garrison. She states that Gyle tortured Rolan in an attempt to force Xandra to do something. There is a save point to the south, so use it and then talk to Garol to continue.
6:21 Infiltrating Nether Garrison
Talis explains how the guards' line-of-sight works and then distracts a guard to let you in. The green guards are apparently too dumb and lazy to report you even if they see you, and you can actually talk to them for info. If you get caught by a brown guard, you'll have to fight a battle and then you'll be bumped back to the camp entrace. You'll keep all items you found, but the guards will respawn.
You can enter the various buildings for some items and non-repeatable battles. The chest in Gyle's building has the combination 1297, netting you two of each rune.
Note that you can climb up ladders, despite Az’uar being a dragon. This can allow you to avoid guards and find a back way to the prison building.
18:30 Xandra's Identity
In the prison, we find Rolan chained to the wall and heavily injured, and then have our spies carry him out. Xandra is in the next room, where she reveals that she's the princess everyone is talking about. Gyle tortured Rolan in order to force her to legitimatize Ry'jin's regime, and she refused. Save before leaving, since there's a really RNG heavy section coming up.

You have to play an SRPG segment to escape the camp, but the UI is really unrefined compared to more dedicated SRPGs. Forfeiting your turn is the first option if you cancel out of movement, and not preserve turn, which means it's easy to accidentally waste a turn. The enemy AI is also somewhat random in how they move. While the ranged attack mechanic should mostly work in the player's advantage, the hit rate is low unless the enemy walks into overlapping attack zones. It's not too hard to complete the bare minimum objective, but it requires a lot of luck to get S-Rank.
To get S-Rank, avoid letting the hero unit engage in any combat whatsoever. Have the hero unit try to get to at least one glowing space to claim bonus CP. You'll also have to watch out for an enemy berserker spawning in the south part of the map on turn 4. The exact spot they spawn on is random, but if you leave the southmost tile empty, they're most likely to spawn there, making it easier to corner them.
You also lose points towards your score for each turn that passes in battle. If you don't think you can kill the last few enemies in a timely manner to make up for CP, just have the hero unit get to the goal point. If you fail to get S rank, you can replay missions once you gain access to the Saphirite hideout.
