While a huge chunk of world's goods are manufactured in Asia, there is still a limited number of Asian gaming companies and their products/services that became successful in the Western world. Translation and language barrier cover only part of the problem of working with people of other nations and cultures. During this presentation we'll try to look at the common mistakes Asian managers do while approaching their Western colleagues and how such issues can be avoided. We'll wrap it up by discussing core differences that business developers for the Eastern world should keep in mind while trying to conquer the Western market or win a partner.

Delivered at Casual Connect Asia, May 2012.
