So...

Once again, I was working on my HCM (Hardcore Mode) Speedruns.
Once again, I wasn't having much luck.
Once again, I encountered a Green Bat...
And once again, I only had a dagger!

I seem to have some weird sort of luck where Green Bats are only attracted to me if I have a dagger. =p

But on the plus side, I was able to defeat my third Green Bat to complete the Bat Trick! =)

But again on the minus side... yet another embarrassingly careless death to end my HCM run. =p Ah well. Anyway, here's the video! =)


The Green Bat was encountered (Zone 1, Level 2) at around: 1:34

The Zone 1 mini-bosses and boss I encountered during this run were:
- Green Dragon, Gray Minotaur, Red Dragon, and King Conga 1.


Some notes and possible points of interest:

0:07 Zone 1, Level 1
0:58 Mini-boss: Green Dragon
1:08 I forgot I had the Blast Helm, and accidentally blew up the gold I got from the Green Dragon. =p
1:17 Zone 1, Level 2
1:34 Green Bat encountered!
1:35 I got lucky on that first move to the left, in that the Green Bat could've attacked me... but didn't. Yay, random movement pattern! =)
1:36 Spent a lot of time clearing the area of other enemies, because I really really didn't want Cadence to die to another creature while hunting the Green Bat!
2:24 Now that I look over the video, I actually got a little lucky on the last move, too. When I moved right, if the Green Bat had moved diagonally down-left, it could've hit me... but fortunately, it moved straight left instead! Yay, random movement! ^^;
2:25 Green Bat defeated!
2:27 Achievement Unlocked: Bat Trick! =)
2:37 First coin multiplier lost (I think I accidentally hit two keys?)
3:05 Mini-boss: Gray Minotaur
3:07 Zone 1, Level 3
3:37 First damage taken (Orange Slime). Careless damage. =p
3:45 Mini-boss: Red Dragon
4:35 Zone 1, Boss: King Conga 1
4:56 HCM run ends! (Killed by: Ghost). Alas, careless damage again. =p But at least I finally completed the Bat Trick! =)
