Welcome to Captain Chang Plays (CCP) Cold Waters w/ DotMod.

Previously, we've done the Udaloy challenge, where you command a sub and try to kill 10 aggressive Udaloys hunting you down. Today, we're doing the reverse: you are playing the Udaloy, and you're hunting multiple NATO subs.

Mission Editor setup as follows:

Map: North Atlantic 1984 Soviet

Units Group 1: 3 to 3, aggressive, all American subs except Ohio, should have 5 of those

Units Group 2: 2 to 2, aggressive, all other NATO subs except British SSBN, should have 6 of these

Now, pick any surface sub-hunter you wish. Udaloy is the default, but if you feel tight on ammo, feel free to pick the Kara, or if you to try something very different, pick the Moskva, with its swarm of helos. Remember Moskva was originally designed to hunt for Ohio-class boomers.

If you play the Udaloy, remember to use your FULL arsenal: you have 2 Helix helos as remote torpedo droppers, 8 "Russki ASROCs" in the VL tubes, torpedoes, decoys (you need to load these, it's NOT on there for default), the main gun, and the RBU (but you only have 8 salvos, and it has limited range), and plenty of SAM to defend yourself, not to mention CIWS.

I'll just warn you... it can be quite difficult.
