Previously, in the Cold Waters (DotMod) Y2000 NATO campaign, we have just destroyed a group of PLAN missile boats intending to raid a supply convoy in the area.

24-SEP-00 New priority order received

MISSION: Conduct TLAM strike on enemy port facilities of Yulin with at least 8 TLAMs.

I actually do have 8 TLAMs aboard, but to get there, I have to clear all these ASW groups in my way.

24-SEP-00 Dive to deal with another ASW group.

Sonar reported contacts to east, where we identified TWO humpback whales, a merchant, 2 x Jiangwei FFs, and a Luda DD. All three escorts were destroyed, but the ASW helo got close and dropped a torpedo. Fortunately, a perfectly dropped MOSS decoy got the torpedo to follow while I ran for the northeast, then east, to get away from both aircrafts.

Neither whale was harmed during this exchange, though I doubt they enjoyed the explosion of torpedoes.
