Rubezahl's main gimmick is inflicting Injury on all your Front Row characters when it uses its Drill attack. The good news is that the Rubezahl can only use its Drill attack once. The Taranis and your crew will also be automatically healed after this fight (since it's the end of chapter). The bad news is that you'll still need to cure Injury during Intermission. Also, later chapters will have a generic version of this boss. There is both a generic / common version and a red, Elite version (that will automatically use Wrath when it's low on HP). Both versions can be spawned with other enemies. It's even possible to get encounters that are JUST a pair of these drilling units. Good luck with that...

Technically speaking, Boron is supposed to be the Injury resistance specialist, as he has an Injury prevention skill AND the ability to increase Injury resistance if he's supporting a gunner. However, the effectiveness of this skill is questionable. Even using Reinforce with Boron (or Jin, once he unlocks it) doesn't seem to guarantee full protection from the ailment. The best way to "handle" the attack is to simply use crewmates you're not using to tank the attack. This isn't as bad as it sounds. Kyle for example, can be switched into the front, can take the Injury, and then be switched into a supporting role where he can still boost accuracy of other characters. Again, it's not bad here because the drill only gets used once. It's a different story when you start fighting two of these things at a time...
