(I highly recommend watching this on 2x speed, since most of this video is just me picking ingredients and searching up recipes)

Toutetsu is the boss of DLC1 and her fight is just RNG hell. While Toutetsu has a bunch of traits she likes, every dish she asks requires three traits (the main trait from the order and two bonus traits that will change when you hit a new threshold). I am just going to spoil Toutetsu's traits:

Filling, Premium, Legendary, Savory, Raw, Wonderful, Meat, Strength-Boosting*, Large Portion**

Strength-Boosting can be added to a dish via Ingredients. As for Large Portion; only one dish actually has that trait and it's not very customizable (it takes up four base ingredients). EDIT: So apparently you CAN add Large Portion if you max out the number of ingredients (thanks to curse for bringing this up).

I didn't know about the Large Portions thing when I played this, so I focused on the Strength-Boosting dishes. For my money, the best dish for this battle is Power Soup, followed by Vivid Bear Paw and the Fried Fish Cakes. Power Soup covers Meat and Strength-Boosting traits and gives you 3 extra ingredients to work with (which is convenient, since Toutetsu wants 3 extra traits)

Now, Power Soup isn't perfect. If Toutetsu asks for a dish with Cool, you're screwed because Power Soup turns to rubbish if mixed with a Cool ingredient. Vivid Bear Soup and the Fried Fish Cakes come in handy here. Bear Soup can be mixed with Ice/Cool ingredients. It also hits multiple extra traits (Premium, Savory, Wonderful) but the trade off is that only lets you add 2 extra ingredients. The Fish Cakes (from Momiji's questline) are arguably worse, also allowing only 2 ingredients while only hitting 1 Toutetsu specific trait (Strength Boosting) but it CAN be cooked on a Frying Pan (while Power Soup and Vivid Paw both require a Boiling Pot) so it has its uses.

You then need to figure out what ingredients will give you the necessary traits to please Toutetsu. Here are five of the most useful ingredients:
-Lunar Herb
-Udumbara
-Truffle
-Wagyu Beef
-Premium Tuna (Or Sea Urchin. They have the same traits)

The five ingredients listed above cover several general traits as well some Toutetsu specific ones. Unfortunately, even they can't cover everything. I can't list every single ingredient with a unique trait here, but here are some ingredients you may not know about:
-Lampmrey (Signature)
-Tofu (Homecooking)
-Cream (Western)
-Pumpkin (Filling)
-Bamboo (Photogenic)
-Black Salt (Salty)

Even if you do memorize all the ingredients, there are still a few dish-exclusive traits: Small Portions, Chinese, Japanese, Aura Bursting (and I think a few others). I got lucky and only had Small Portions a few times, but you should probably have a few backup recipes for the other traits.

Phase 1 is pretty simple; 3 Toutetsu's asking for 3 extra traits. Phase 2 increases the no. of Ghoasts and throws in random orders (the random orders still need 2 extra traits). Phase 3 is just all random orders. Some random orders are a trap; Toutetsu can and will order stuff that uses too many base ingredients to really customize. This is why you should focus on the dishes that let you add 2 or more extra ingredients in the later phases.

Extra Tips:
-Try to stay in Hyper all the time. I do this by using burner dishes (eggs) at the start and whenever Hyper runs out. It usually takes 4 successful cooking mini-games to get to Hyper.
-Try not to give her alcohol unless you have zero choice. There are a lot of non-alcoholic drinks you can give her when she asks for something that's Sweet
-You might want to write down a list of the unique ingredients or traits.
-You can also highlight ingredients to make things easier to find

After the length of this fight, I am very worried about the length of future DLC bosses.
