The general crux of this strategy is to debuff as many characters as possible for Parsee. Parsee has two abilities that benefit from everybody being debuffed: the passive skill "Jealousy Manipulation" (which increases Parsee's stats for every debuffed enemy and ally) and Large Box and Small Box (a PHYS attack which has a chance to triple its damage, depending on several factors. One of these factors is "chance up for each debuff and ailment on ally" as well as on enemy).
For most bosses, debuffing your entire party just to power up Parsee (+ Hina) isn't very practical but it works well here because 1) Memorized Knowledge is very susceptible to debuffs and 2) Large Box and Small Box hits Knowledge's low DEF, low PHYS affinity weakness.
Some extra notes:
-I only used Rinnosuke for his rewards boost. His high debuff resistance was actually un-helpful for hitting a higher Jealousy level with Parsee
-I forgot to remove Momiji and Aya's self-boosting SPD buffs
-I forgot to level up Parsee's Large Box and Small Box
I just want to mention it now, but while a debuff party is impractical in LOT2, I'd love to see 3peso make it possible in LOT3. Since LOT2's release, Touhou has introduced characters characters like Seija and Shion who are perfect as debuff themed characters. Seija's reversal power could translate into a character who can switch buffs to debuffs (and vice versa). Shion could just be Hina on steroids. If Hina has a skill to self-debuff herself on her turns, maybe Shion could have a skill that slightly debuffs everyone in the front row. Or maybe she could have a Ran style, backrow debuffing skill. There are ways of translating her bad luck power into gameplay.
If they add those two, and then implement more skills like Flexibility or Nimble onto more characters, a "debuff party" could easily be a legitimate party playstyle. Here's hoping.
