Finally, some good news in this challenge!

After clearing Ayla's time and exploring Zeal before being kicked out by the "Prophet", our party got a bunch of great items with the help of Marle's medalion and by far the most useful of them is... the Wallet!

It turns all experience into G, which means we now have many great abilities unknown to us in the past:

1. We can finally fight enemies, no need to run away from every single battle anymore!

2. Nobody levels up anymore, everyone's levels at this point are final. There's one more character to get later though and he will change the party average quite a bit.

3. We can finally learn techniques! I've almost forgotten how great they are - in this video you can mostly see Ayla Rock Throwing the beasts and Frog using Leap Slash a couple of times. And we get Charm, with the help of which we can steal many precious things from the enemies!

4. Earning money is now much easier.


However, we are still weak and die easily. Crono especially.

In this battle I show how weak Crono's Lightning 2 is - like before, there is no use in reviving him.

The biggest difference one will notice when watching this battle is that Frog and Ayla fight together for the first time in this challenge and this duo is a great one indeed.

The strategy is to have Ayla charm the neat stuff from the blue beast and the mud imp, and then have her concentrate her attacks on taking out the red beast, then the blue one. Frog heals her and himself, sometimes helping with attacking.

There's no necessity for attacking the imp, as his defences are very high and by waiting a bit after the beasts are dead, he just gets bored and escapes the fight. Not that we mind, really.
