This is our second encounter with Lavos. This time around it has a lot more HP and much stronger attacks, but we have also pumped up quite a bit.

The only elemental attack Lavos uses is a strong water elemental spell, so Robo, who can (and is supposed to) solo through this battle, is given the appropriate piece of equipment which absorbs it.

Lavos's other moves shouldn't kill Robo and when he uses the full-party moves Ayla is also able to survive at full health.

I had a bit of luck here and Ayla actually was alive for the duration of this battle, until the victory. She supported Robo and herself with curative items, while he Uzzi Punched the head over and over.

I gave Robo a Haste Helm so that he would get more turns in.

Overall, this is an easy battle, especially considering that we are nearing the finale of the challenge.
