Chrono Trigger: Zeal Kingdom Bosses
0Happy thanksgiving nerds (if you're watching this on the day the video goes up) Zeal kingdom marks roughly the halfway point of the game, at least if you're going for all bosses, and where a ton of the story comes in place as all of the surviving villains make themselves known.
Golem: Difficulty 8/10* so if you know how to AI lock the Golem it's super easy but if you don't know it or if someone dies from the counters it's can get a lot harder. The light elemental counter is by far the biggest threat as discharge hits hard and hits everyone.
Ice and Fire Mudbeasts: Difficulty 4/10 The Imp is gonna be heal spamming throughout the fight otherwise it's a basic elemental duo fight. Have Ayla charm the mud imp for an elusive speed capsule and the ice mudbeast for I believe the only mermaid helm in the game. It offers very high defense and halves water damage
Giga Gaia: Difficulty 3/10 Fuck this boss so much. It's not hard at all but I remember back when I played the mobile port of this game as a kid this was the boss that constantly crashed the game. Not even kidding I think it crashed on me 20 separate times. Anyways he'll revive the arms after they're destroyed but they'll only have 1000 HP so you can easily dispatch them with Falcon strike, luminaire, or what have you. That being said you may want to grind some techniques on mount woe as the enemies here give amazing amounts of TP. Charm the head of giga gaia for another speed capsule
Nu: Difficutly 9/10 all life begins and ends with Nu
Dalton: Difficulty 3.5/10 Dalton has a couple of fights in the game but only the last one ever fully realizes what he's capable of. The first battle with Dalton all he does is spam iron sphere which does half your health for the fight but upon death he counters with a poison attack that deals roughly 100 damage to the party. Basically a boss designed to kill you once with a gotcha.
Golem Sisters: Difficulty 5/10 by this point you should have at least 2 party members with screen nuke spells so you'll just want them to be at high speed and keep alternating between the two golems to AI loop them and keep them from physically attacking. Charm the Golems for a magic capsule.
Lavos: Difficulty 10/10 Die
