Aka the bosses fought while Crono is Dead. Also some viewers may have noticed that Robo is also absent from the party for the last fight. That is because after defeating Melphyx Robo will leave your party for 400 years, assisting Fiona in reviving the land... actually if you wanted you could finish the game with only Marle, Lucca, Glenn, and Ayla. At this point you may be strong enough to take down Lavos but you won't be getting a good ending or unlocking the dimensional vortex.

Golem Overlord: Difficulty 9999999999/10 The Ultimate challenge and the progenitor for impossible boss fights like Rick soldier of God from Elden Ring.

King Dalton: Difficulty 3.5/10 So Dalton has some strong attacks as well as access to all the level 2 magic attacks. He also comes with a cool gimmick where he will always counter an elemental attack with the opposite element... but none of it matters because his Health is so freaking low he'll be dead in 2 or 3 techs unless you intentionally hold back and I'm pretty sure Ayla can one shot him. Speaking of Ayla she can charm the ambrosia from him but that item is more of a novelty than something actually useful.

Magus: Difficulty 5/10 You can fight him with just frog as I showed earlier. Magus got messed up after his fight with Lavos losing hell Geyser permanently as well as being unable to channel his dark magic. Instead he'll rely on level 2 fire, ice, and lightning magic to attack you or just using his scythe. His HP is the same as his fight in the middle ages but his defense is lower... though the Masamune doesn't drop his defense anymore so really it's about the same. That being said I hesitate to call this fight easy because Magus is fast. He may not have dark matter anymore but when he can bust out 3 spells in the time it used to take him to cast even 1 you'll find your HP getting low... of course you probably don't want to fight Magus anyways.

Spekkio Gaoler: Spekkio again so no physical attacks allowed but thankfully no crazy surprises this fight just some level 2 magic.

Golden Hammer: Difficulty 6/10 the ONLY part of the lost sanctum I'll be playing through. Golden Hammer is a strange mismash of attacks and gimmicks. He's got a counter to raise his attack every time he's hit, telekinesis attacks like Azala, a counter stance that reduces the targets HP to 1, and a magic shield I guess? It's a mess but at least the reward is pretty good. As far as I know none of the lost sanctum bosses have anything to charm.

Wonder rock is not a boss but killing it gives a ton of EXP. More importantly the Lumicite can be used to make Lucca's Best Armor the Elemental Aegis.

Melphyx: Difficulty 8/10 You have to use water to lower the defense to reasonable levels and this boss has very high speed for this point in the game. MAKE SURE TO CHARM THE CORE BEFORE IT DIES so you can get yourself a speed capsule and try to kill the core in order to get 100 TP. I recommend saving after killing this boss because there's something that happens at the end of the questline that if you fail you mess it up permanently like a soulsborne game.

Lavos Spawn: Difficulty 5/10 Charm the head for an elixir. There's 3 of these guys on the way up the mountain but I'm only showing off the last one. Unfortunately as cool as Magus is he's trash at these fights because you need single target techniques to avoid hitting the shell and all of his techniques are AOE or screen nukes. thankfully the spawns only have 4000 HP.

With that done you can now revive Crono bringing you to the endgame letting you tackle each characters sidequest. Or you could take the bucket and head right to Lavos... or you could crash the epoch into it skipping the entire creature lavos fight... oh and there's the matter of the black Omen looming over head acting as the final dungeon of the game.

I will be tackling the optional bosses then handling the black omen. The end is near... kinda.
