Evil Dead: Hail to the King was released in 2000, developed by Heavy Iron Studios (this was their first game, and after this mostly made Pixar and SpongeBob games lol), and published by THQ.

This is definitely not what we expected when we popped this game in. We expected a third-person action game, kind of like a PS1 version of The Suffering. What we got instead was a mixture of Resident Evil, Fear Effect, and... Myst? Or at least an adventure game.

This seems like one of those games that is good once you know where to go / how to play it. Little disappointed, but maybe this will be worth a full playthrough sometime in the future!
