Jumping Flash was released in late 1995 (only a few months after the PS1 release), developed by Exact (Ghost in the Shell PS1), and Ultra (I don't know what else they did, let us know below!) and published by Sony.

This is a very early 3D game, so we knew going in that it would be a bit hard to stomach by any modern standards --- still, Jumping Flash plays considerably better than expect, with solid (tank) controls, a good framerate, and pretty awesome music. It's definitely tough to play if you're used to standard 3D game controls, but it's a really cool piece of history and showcases that 3D games could in fact be done fairly well right off the bat.
