Released 9/27/1985, City Connection for Famicom is a port of the classic Jaleco arcade game. In the arcade game and Famicom version, you play as Clarice, a blue haired teen traveling the world in her Honda City, painting the town white and hucking oil cans at police cars in search of love. In the NES version, you play as an unnamed male who has stolen "paint" and is running from the cops. In both versions a random pink cat will try to make you crash. The gameplay is virtually identical in both versions, but I think the cutscenes in the NES version make a better story.

Hear me out, the NES version of City Connection is a game about a drug dealer. This is one instance where the NES version is "edgier" than the Famicom one. You play as an unnamed male who smokes and dodges the fuzz, distributing some... white substance. Call it (mental) paint. The word "connection" is slang for a drug dealer, as in The French Connection (a film with an iconic police chase scene!). You travel the world selling white powder cocaine and/or heroin in this game, let's be honest. Along the way, you will see some of the most beautiful structures created by humans in their finest cities. Drug dealing has its benefits!

I am considering a playthrough to be beating the Hi Score. I played on an original NES using a NES classic controller, RCA cables, and a Sharp X-Flat 27" CRT TV.
