Columbia Pictures’ “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” - 2022 DVD Review
This is a review of the original 2022 DVD of Columbia Pictures’ “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.” The plot of this movie follows the Primm Family moving to Nee York City. When their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and make friends, he is met with positive change when he encounters Lyle, a singing crocodile that loves baths and great music. When the Primm’s wicked neighbor, Mr. Grumps wants to capture Lyle, the Primms must band together with Lyle’s owner, Hector P. Valenti, portrayed by Spanish Actor Javier Bardem, to save Lyle from Mr. Grumps. The film’s original songs were written by the same songwriters who wrote the original songs for “The Greatest Showman,” a 20th Century Fox film from late 2017. I would rate this movie an 8 out of 10. I like the story-telling and songs, however, I wish that the movie was longer than 2 hours. I hope you enjoy the show and learn that family can come from the most unexpected places, even a singing crocodile that lives in the attic. Note: Soundtrack on Island Records, a division of UMG Recordings, Inc. 🐊🗽🪄🤹🎤🛁🏝️
