Taylor Swift’s “reputation” - 2017 Compact Disc Review
This is a review of the 2017 Compact Disc of Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album, “reputation.” This is Taylor Swift’s last album with her original label, Big Machine Records. After this album, she fulfilled her contract with Big Machine Records and was able to transfer to Republic Records, who is owned by Universal Music Group. After she ended her contract, Big Machine Records was sold to record producer and artist management agent Scooter Braun, which is the reason Taylor Swift has to re-record her entire Big Machine Records catalog through Republic Records. I’m guessing that she will record this last because it was her last release under Big Machine Records. She already did “Fearless,” “Red,” and just recently did “Speak Now” as a re-recording. This album includes great tracks, including but not limited to, “I Did Something Bad,” “Look What You Made Me Do,” and “Dancing with Our Hands Tied.” Despite all of the great tracks, I consider this to be one of her weaker albums. I hope you enjoy the show and enjoy “reputation.” 📰🗞️💿🎵🎤🎸
