Gameplay from the excellent Sega Saturn port of Command & Conquer that largely holds 60fps when set to turbo mode. While there are a few animation cuts and HUD changes this classic real time strategy come to Saturn via a very close port. Only the resolution takes a hit and the frame rate does suffer with slowdown on the very final map when huge armies face off.
Westwood built on the ground work of their Dune II game to help refined the RTS genre with Command & Conquer. It's slick, it's smooth, it's fast, looks and plays great, stealing hours of your life as you take sides as either the GDI or Brotherhood of Nod. If you've played any RTS in the last 20 years then just about every game in the genre has been inspired by this, Dune II and Herog Zwei. Build your armies and crush your opponents it's as easy as that. The Saturn port was released six months before the PlayStation release and doesn't include the The Covert Operations included on the PS1 version as a result. This is the first few missions from the NOD disc.
