As requested by Dave (of Tynemouth Software fame) here is a quick test of Cheese & Onion with Chris @HamsterSnr's VGA Adaptor. Dave was interested in seeing how the game got on with the VGA Adaptor as it uses the full width of the VIC's screen (including the border).

It should be noted that I'm testing this on my Japanese VIC-1001 (NTSC).

Looks like it suffers from the same issue as Pole Position & Polaris - Chris notes:

"The games like Pole Position and Polaris will show an unpleasant flashing screen. This is because the code is reading the VIC's (6560/6561) horizontal line indicator and changing the background colour, and since the VIC chip and VGA Adaptor are not synchronised there is flashing. I am still thinking of an acceptable solution for this problem."
