This is the follow up of the previous short video demonstrating the 1994 Connectix QuickCam (https://youtu.be/t4G-JwuttsQ).

This one is just a short video showing the result of an out of the box installation of a 1998 Connectix Color QuickCam VC, which at best can still only do 320x240, but this time in millions of muddy colors.

I did not manage to get the microphone working (maybe it does not have one), so the audio was recorded with a separate modern microphone, which explain the hugely better audio.

That being said, the hardware worked out of the box, with the camera plugged on the parallel port of a "Thin Client" running Windows 98SE.

There are other plans for these devices, but this was just to check that the hardware itself was working when used on the actual setup it was designed to be used with.
