It is about time I started Control. As of now, I'm dabbling in games, playing them as I feel in the mood. There are some I would like to get back to like, Days Gone and Death Stranding, but I'm afraid my time away from them would require me to relearn a bunch of mechanics. Then again, Days Gone has a standard playstyle that I believe I could jump right back in. Right now though, I'm playing Control.

So far, it's all so melodramatic. I'm at the beginning of the game so I'm just getting my feet wet and it's okay. I getting the hang of the mechanics. The shooting feels good. The camera is very sensitive requiring me to turn it way down. It hasn't pulled me in just yet, but I want to stick with it and see where it goes. I mean, it did get IGN's Game of the Year. So that has to account for something, right?

It reminds me of The X-Files Game (https://youtu.be/MdTqfz-PIjQ), a game I played on PC and enjoyed. I wonder if that's available on PC and can be played on current PCs now. I'll have to look into that. Anyway, Control reminds me of that in tone, especially at the end when I control Jesse into talking with Emily Pope.

As I said, it hasn't got it's hooks into me yet, but I do look forward to playing more and seeing what powers I'll learn to make the combat a bit more engaging.
