In Part 4, I was having problems with my Xbox One controller disconnecting, which was annoying. It never happened during combat, just in cutscenes, which I thought was weird. Anyway, that's when I decided to split this play session to find out what was going on. I thought it might be a dead/dying battery, but no, the batteries were fine. It happened during this play session as well, again, not during gameplay, but cutscenes and even a loading screen.

I go through the Research area, clearing out Hiss and coming across new enemy types. The Launch ability is fantastic, and I am putting all my Ability Points into that. It basically will 1-hit kill all the basic enemies, or significantly reduce the health of others.

One of the things I really like about this game is I never feel underpowered and, at the same time, not over-powered. Usually, somewhere in the mix of basic, easy enemies are harder, more powerful ones. But, I know I am an equal match or have a slight advantage to defeat them without first having to bang my head against a wall.

I do think I need to find more Objects of Power so I can gain more abilities. I really want to be able to fly, and I was informed that's a possibility. I wonder when that will be available to me.

One aspect of the game that was lauded was the brutalist architecture. Honestly, it's an office building. It's an office building, not unlike a thousand other office buildings. Sure it's more dramatic, but ostensibly an office building. It is cool that it transforms, but even the transformations, when observed, are simplistic. I thought it would be more disorientating. It isn't. The walls are extruded out at varying depths. When you clear the area, all the walls are flattened. The first time is impressive. I'm not saying it was easy to animate and design, it just doesn't come across as complicated as I was expecting.
