As it turned out, I was at the very end of the game. It didn't take me too long to get through that gauntlet of enemies. Being as overpowered as I was made it easier this time. What also made it easier was I forced the enemies to come to me rather than me hunt them down.



The ending wasn't quite as good as I hoped it would be. Possibly I didn't understand what was going on, and if I just watch the ending sequences, it all might come together. However, that's the thing with science fiction, and it was the case with the X-Files, it doesn't always have to make sense. You just accept the ridiculousness.


I enjoyed the gameplay. Running around and shooting felt good. I was a might disappointed in the flying. It came too late in the game, and I would have like top utilize it more frequently. Introducing it so late didn't give me enough time to get comfortable with the mechanics. So I'm just flailing around in the air, then falling to my death.


I think I will continue on for a little while, but there are still other games I want to play. I'm wondering if there is a "true" ending to the game. We ended things with Jesse as the official Director and Jesse taking ownership of the role. There are still Hiss in The Oldest House that needs to be eradicated. Once eliminated, the lockdown will be lifted. I can see this being more of a sequel, and I don't know how I think about that.


I'd recommend Control to players who enjoy third-person action games.
