I spent this play session finishing up the Directorial Override mission and then doing the side mission where I had to dispose of trash in the furnace for Ahti. It took me quite a bit of time finding the furnace until realized it was in the NSC Coolant Pumps area.

I understood going in the map was unhelpful. However, I did know the signs were really all you needed to navigate the building. Thank goodness for those signs. They work rather well and lead you to where you need to go fairly consistently. To the Furnace? Maybe not so well, but I was able to find it eventually.

I am still enjoying the game. I was excited I was able to defeat those 50 enemies without dying. I thought that would hang over my head for the remainder of the game. I'm getting better acquainted with combat and movement. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure what my goal is. Is it to find information on my brother Dylan? Or am I supposed to be helping the FBC gain back control through defeating the Hiss.

The Hiss. I find it interesting Jesse came up with the name only to find it in some of the documents I come across scattered around the building. Or maybe it's just to documents Emily is writing. I can't remember.

Game Informer named Control their Game of the Year. Is it mine? I don't really know. There were a lot of great games that came out this year that I really enjoyed. The funny thing about GotYs for me is I consider games I played, not necessarily games released this year. When thinking about my Game of the Year, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is up there. With that said, Control is quickly becoming the best game I played this year.
