Lost Recipes VR is a brand new Quest 2 game that teaches players how to cook authentic meals throughout different historical eras, it's one of the most relaxing VR cooking games I've played (no stressful timers, a chilled out atmosphere & some educational facts along the way) and to top it all off you're not cooking for people...you're cooking for ghosts. The ghosts in Lost Recipes just want to experience some of their favourite meals one last time in this delightful Oculus Quest 2 cooking simulator that slows everything down rather than piling the pressure onto the player. These new Quest 2 games are coming thick and fast now but can this one stack up against the likes of Zenith or Wanderer, which both launched on the same day.

If you're looking for an enjoyable & relaxing VR cooking simulator then Lost Recipes VR will definitely put a smile on your face but its brief runtime will leave you craving more. The game desperately needs a freeplay mode for the more creative VR chefs out there & a few more time periods would be extremely welcome to flesh out the offering. The content that is here is really well made & genuinely enjoyable, its just a real shame there isn't more of it.
