Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time - Episode 7: Guess You Better Slow Your Bandicoot Down
0In today's episode of the "Crash 4" playthrough, we complete the final level in the Louisiana bayou hub, which is the game's final jet board level, and move onto the next hub, the ice-themed 11th Dimension, where we make good use of the third Quantum Mask that allows us to slow down time for a few seconds.
After completing the third and final level of the Louisiana bayou world, which also is the final jet board level in the game, we get our third Quantum Mask: Kupuna-Wa, who grants us the ability to slow down time.
In regards to gameplay, Kapuna-Wa is a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, I've always had a soft spot for chronokinesis and love being able to slow down enemies and platforms on command. However, as fun as Kapuna-Wa's sections are in theory, I'm always too nervous to enjoy them to their fullest since her powers only remain active for a few seconds at a time, unlike the other three Quantum Masks' powers which have no time limit.
Though regardless of how limited Kapuna-Wa's powers are, we'll need all the help we can get since the next world, the 11th Dimension, is an ice-filled realm with plenty of ice physics.
