Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time - Episode 5: N. Brio Invented Pyrrhic Victories
1In today's episode of the "Crash 4" playthrough, we complete the remaining levels in the Feudal Japan world, defeat N. Brio, and complete a unique version of the first level that you unlock after his boss fight.
In addition to inventing recycling, the slinky, and writing the Bible, N. Brio invented the idea of pyrrhic victories because that's essentially what his boss fight is. Sure, the fight against N. Brio isn't too difficult since it's more or less a repeat of his boss fight from the first game, but while we may have won the battle, he has won the war; for by defeating N. Brio, we can now play the N. Verted version of any level we have completed, each with their own set of gems, which in turn has doubled the amount of collectables that you'll need to get your hands on if you want to 100% this game.
Though if you just want to get your hands on all the skins the game has to offer, the N. Verted levels are just the thing for you since the gems collected in both them and the standard version of any level will go towards the six needed to unlock the skins. As such, if you just go through both versions of the level while collecting 80% of all the fruit, you should be able to get the six gems without too much difficulty.
