D&D Build #22: The Lumberjack (Axe Throwing Ranger)
Ever wanted to make a character designed around throwing axes? In this build, I take that idea and optimize around it. While handaxes aren't the best thrown weapon (that title belongs to the dart), I wanted to make an axe based build in honor of my grandfather who passed away recently. This build leverages dual wielding and thrown weapon fighting to make an interesting and surprisingly effective DPR character that transitions from a martial into a summoner and support around the level 10 mark. This is a Fey Wanderer Ranger, Eldritch Knight Fighter, and Twilight Cleric multiclass build for D&D 5th edition, using the Eladrin race.
Overall, I had a lot of fun taking this character concept and running with it. Got any ideas you'd like to see? Let me know in the comments!
