D&D 5e Class Overview: Druid (2024 PHB)
This series is designed to provide an overview of each of the classes in D&D 5e. The goal is to provide an understanding of the ins and outs of each class to (hopefully) inspire new characters. In this video, I cover the Druid class for D&D 5e, as updated in the new 2024 PHB. Note that the ratings at the end of the video are considering only the core class, and not how each subclass works. Druid has seen some pretty major adjustments, namely in their subclasses coming a level later, a significant rework to wild shape, and reworks of many of their spells (like conjure animals and conjure woodland beings). Overall, I'm happy with the changes, and I feel they went a long ways towards addressing grievances with the class (such as poor at will damage and wild shape being absurd at low and very high levels).
All opinions in this video are mine. Agree? Disagree? Have a different opinion, or saw something I missed? Let me know in the comments!
