This series is designed to provide an overview of each of the classes in D&D 5e. The goal is to provide an understanding of the ins and outs of each class to (hopefully) inspire new characters. In this video, I cover the Barbarian class for D&D 5e, as updated in the new 2024 PHB. Note that the ratings at the end of the video are considering only the core class, and not how each subclass works. Overall, I like the changes to the class, and they've gained a lot of quality of life options. Some of the weaknesses of the class (poor high level damage scaling, weak mental defenses) still remain, but I think the new version is more compelling even if a bit more complicated.
