This is a long video because the Cathedral of the Deep is so big. I get rekt a few times here, first by dogs going in, then killed on the rafters, and then by the slug people trying to get to Rosaria. Chalk it up to trying to be fast and careless. At least the death is worth a laugh.


Deacons of the Deep - you have to kill the one that's glowing, and I know that everyone knows that already, but it's worth saying. In my original NG back in 2016, I didn't know that, because I was panicked. After the archdeacon appears, you can focus on him, but kill his fat blue deacons so that they can't heal him. An ultra greatsword works wonders for this fight, combined with the Chloranthy Ring, Green Blossoms, and Grass Crest Shield. The Deacons are vulnerable to Alluring Skulls, so it's worthwhile to have a few here, especially in higher NG cycles.
