Day Of The tentacle Remaster is a HD remaster of the original that was released way back in 1993. At the time this game was rated as one of the best point & click adventure games, up there with Monkey Island.


This game is so much fun, considering it's a remaster the developers and producers done a very good job, remasters tend not to be that great. One of my issues with this game really is that the voice acting seems very stiff with NO feeling in tone, like the voice actor couldn't be arsed to read it properly.

The controls are very simplistic and easy to learn what each does thanks to the handy labeling of each item and icon. Another issue I have with this game is some of the scenes are just WAY too long, they should have been cut shorter for the remaster.

One other thing that's annoying are the STEAM achievements, so are just damn right stupid.. ring the desk bell 100 times? SERIOUSLY... 100 times? stand around for 5 minutes waiting for Hoagie to eat a hoagie, that just took the enjoyment out of it for me.

Over all the game is great though if you can ignore those minor things, it's an enjoyable game and great to see what the classic was all about but in HD, though you even have the option to turn the graphics to classic if you wish.
