Dink Smallwood was released on PC in 1998 by publisher, Iridon Interactive AB, and developer, Robinson Technologies. The game is a top-down action rpg that can be brutal on times, in terms of difficulty AND themes.
This game is just all kinds of odd but for some reason.. addictive. The story is dark and NPCs are just damn weird and freaky. The graphics have been upgraded to HD but still manage to keep the original look. though the game ain't graphically amazing it's still a pretty good game, and it's free to play abandonware.
The music is okay and sound effects are simple but effective. This game has a great feature where you can load add-on's that have been made by people to expand on the world of Dink Smallwood. The game is pretty brutal to start with due to not having any weapons so early on but it's manageable.
