So there's a bug with fullscreen in this game where the game runs at twice the intended speed if you have it turned on. Apparently I played through the entire game without realizing anything was wrong until the last attack of this boss.

I tried running the game at the intended 30 fps and holy cow it's like playing the game in slow motion.
