DETECTIVE PIKACHU CAKE TOPPER
Cosa serve:
Base cilindrica di polistirolo (diametro 10 cm , altezza 5 cm)
Pallina di polistirolo da 3 cm
Pasta di zucchero
100g verde e gialla
10 gr marrone, rossa, bianca, nera, grigia
Stecchi e stuzzicadenti
Maizena per modellare
Pennello inumidito per incollare
Pennarello alimentare nero

Per la base:
Stendere la pasta di zucchero verde, inumidire e rivestire il polistirolo.
Ritagliare dalla pasta di zucchero avanzata dei ciuffetti di erba.

Per realizzare Pikachu:
Inumidire e rivestire la pallina di polistirolo per ottenere la base della testa.
Modellare il viso, aggiungere le orecchie e passare alla realizzazione del corpo.
Aggiungere braccia, zampette e coda e realizzare gli accessori come mostrato in video.

La maizena si usa per evitare che la pasta di zucchero si attacchi alle mani, in questo modo sarà più facile modellarla. L’acqua invece, al contrario, favorisce il legame tra le varie parti e può essere usata al posto della colla alimentare.
Il tutorial può essere seguito anche sostituendo la pasta di zucchero con la pasta di mais, la porcellana fredda e le altre paste modellabili (esempio: fimo).

What is needed:
Cylindrical base in polystyrene (diameter 10 cm, height 5 cm)
Polystyrene ball of 3 cm
Sugar paste
100g green and yellow
10 gr brown, red, white, black, gray
Sticks and toothpicks
Maizena for modeling
Wet brush for gluing
Black food marker

For the base:
Spread the green sugar paste, moisten and coat the polystyrene.
Cut out some tufts of grass from the advanced sugar paste.

To make Pikachu:
Moisten and coat the polystyrene ball to get the base of the head.
Shape the face, add the ears and move on to the realization of the body.
Add arms, legs and tail and make the accessories as shown on video.

The cornstarch is used to prevent the sugar paste from sticking to the hands, so it will be easier to shape it. Water, on the other hand, favors the bond between the various parts and can be used instead of food glue.
The tutorial can also be followed by replacing the sugar paste with corn paste, cold porcelain and other mouldable pastes (example: fimo).
