[DFFOO JP] Idea for basic Garland BT+ setup without launch and outside off-turn damage
Just an idea test in Lufenia (so they don't interrupt me with the arbitrary 10 turn equals instant turn thing) with Garland BT. The last 30 seconds or so was the result EX damage under BT effect at 5 stacks inside summon.
Due to his low hits in between HP dumps and his follow-up, I think Garland BT damage could go up in 4 different ways when he has already been dealing BRV cap damage:
1. BRV consumption reduction or refund (Iroha or Rosa)
2. BRV gain in between hits (Cait Sith, possibly with BRV gain bonus with Y'shtola / Bartz and others)
3. HP damage Up
4. HP damage Cap Up (other burst effect such as Lann and Reynn)
In this example, Cait Sith and Y'shtola for point 2 and 4 (their HA+ effect); Iroha Call for 1, Gabranth and Vayne Call for 3.
Further possible improvements:
1. If Garland is not hitting Brv cap in Lufenia+, you can replace Y'shtola with Bartz. Bartz gives others weakness damage as well and he has 25% BRV gain bonus, so with Garland's LD lowering enemy defence and BT at 5 stacks giving (I believe) 100% BRV damage Up, you should have no problem hitting the caps.
2. Putting another burst effect user like Lann and Reynn and give even more weakness damage and HP damage cap up, replacing Cait Sith with his call.
3. I forgot to do it here but you can use Garland LD before going into BT, so that you have an extra free skill inside the 7 turn burst and do not need to use HP++ instead.
4. Stacking more HP damage up with friends and call units.
5. Slapping a CoD or Raines Call (esp with Bartz for refund) and burst phase damage will go up significantly.
I don't have Bartz and the Twins at BT+2 or above and other OP calls like kurasame, so I can't test 1, 2 and 4. This is just a idea for a team to cover the basic optimization that I think one can make for Garland BT phase. Feel free to slap some crazy off-turn damage along to make him go pass the 1 million mark.
