HA Serah only and Paine has not even got back when that 750k battery btw lol, and she is doing 600k per target?
She was already great when I last tested her without external BRV gain against 90% reduction. Half of her skill did not 100% mBRV battery the entire party, as witnessed by the orb only taken for the amount of 1 person fulfilment.
This time with Y'shtola and Paine (middle), she gets an external 20%-70% BRV gain up aura help depending on whether Y'sh BT has taken effect. Upon close inspection, we can see moonlight+ was already giving 170k to the party at 5:57, when boss has not yet reached 90% reduction and only Paine + Serah's C88 is in effect (total 30%). Then during the summon phase when boss reached 90% and Y'shtola BT was on, she gave Y'shtola 330K and Ace 80K lol. Her LD gave herself so much that all of her hits capped and somehow the last refund was 750K.
I think Serah needs very little BRV gain up help externally to do well. It feels a bit overkill putting Y'sh besides her (though it is fun to watch and she can probably fully battery the entire party a lot more). Overall though, besides her nuclear battery, this party operated mostly on just character party auras. We can see even after Jack CA debuff had fallen off, everyone were still doing 200k-400k damage, mostly capping on HP damage without Ursula's presence.
Serah and Paine:
I think Paine and Serah synergises really well together and you can play around with their positionals as well, since Serah put on buffs and debuffs really frequently. Serah on the debuff side is exceptionally efficient, since she enters with 4 debuffs on all targets already. if the situation demands it, having a slight BRV Gain up would never hurt. I would advice not putting Paine to the left if Serah is to do more damage, because most of her most damaging skills are split HP attacks, and she does not really cap on BRV damage on the time, rather rely on battery and refunds more, so some HP damage up from Paine seems to work really well, 25% or 50%.

I have said I don't want to pull Cater later today, but that AoE framed freeze is enticing and the different levels of charged shots look fun to play around with. Might actually try out my luck a little bit.
