The remaining highlights of the Myotismon Arc are in this video. Or not all of them? I don't know if VenomMyotismon should be considered part of the arc... That one will be uploaded separately.

Dokugumon

A lot of Digimon have their solo fights here, most of them have laughable difficulty even at lower levels. Of the ones with existing difficulty, I can only point out Patamon's fight and maybe Ikkakumon, but Ikkakumon at least has a digivolution.

Anyway, much of the damage comes from whether the Digimon has digivolved or not, with higher-tiered forms having greatly improved damage output, so Patamon is still in his rut here, unable to digivolve into Angemon at least (although he does get access to the Champion form shortly, but that happens only a little bit earlier than when Agumon and Gabumon get their Megas so he's useless when you have the full roster to freely choose from).

I already showed his solo duel against Elecmon and the strat I picked here is different - first of all, 2x Charge to maximise attack and defence, giving us a stat advantage through buffs (the most important thing in this game). Giga Heal whenever healing is necessary, and Dokugumon's damage output varies wildly depending on how many strikes the multi-hit attacks get.

It's surprising but Patamon can actually get to 4-digit number damage buffed up to the max... though only with a crit! :P

Pumpkinmon & Gotsumon

I actually found this absurdly difficult at this point. You're fighting it out against two Digimon at a time, and your party consists of two - just Matt's and TK's mons. Gabumon can go Ultimate no problem, while Patamon is stuck as a Rookie and is therefore a huge burden here as you have to worry about him staying alive - and we do need somebody to heal and buff when WereGarurumon lands very powerful blows (Gabumon's damage is almost always on par with Agumon's forms and they tend to digivolve to the next form at approximately the same periods in the story too). Def Break helps a bit, but one was enough (some deceptive battles showing two Def Breaks succeeding in a row must've spoiled me... perhaps one break is not the roof but just the most reliable scenario one should be satisfied and stop at).

The two bosses are... weird to say the least. They whiff a whole lot, but when an attack connects, it's pretty likely to be a OHKO. Even WereGarurumon suffers really devastating attacks. This is why Patamon got the Auto-Revive ability, which extends his vitality for a while longer, and the first thing I do is buff Gabumon who will be responsible for all the non-negligible damage here.

As is typical of Gabumon, he runs out of SP, which is annoying. I should've just used some SP recovery items, but this pretty much ended up being a Minimal Item Use LLG because I was stingy. Needless to say, Gabumon's damage is vastly inferior when he's just going for regular physical attacks.

When Pumpkinmon goes down (he's pretty hard to pierce normally, but with +2 atk on Gabumon and -1 def on the boss, he's like 2HKO'd... yeah), it seems like there's some breathing room, but Gotsumon starts landing vicious crits on everyone and WereGarurumon finishes him off while in critical HP, barely on time, dealing damage slowly with physicals and with no more Anger reaction kicking in on counters.

Myotismon (last)

The last Myotismon battle, once again, means we should aim to finish the fight as soon as possible because the healing from Night Raid is a bit too much sometimes, while his damage potential is also highly competent.

The new addition to the party is Kari and her Gatomon is a beast, though it may be just an optical illusion since when you look at Gatomon's stats, you see the Champion form's stats (because the Rookie form is non-existent... wait, it's Salamon though isn't it? the little dog) and that creates the impression that Gatomon outstats everyone. She does though, because the level advantage she joins at is really noticeable.

Gatomon goes Angewomon immediately and what a good one that is! MT party healing is among Angewomon's techniques so putting her in the party is almost always a good idea - you save up space for 3 more abilities, whether auto or actions.

In this case, Angewomon deals increased damage to the boss. So does Garudamon though, so that's my second attacker, and I also use WereGarurumon because he's really fast compared to most others.

Myotismon doesn't joke around with the damage, but Angewomon crits for max 9999 damage (more is only possible with multi-attack techs) and there's not a whole lot left after that. Even with Gabumon KO'd (he still gets EXP from the fight...), it's over really soon.
