There's no shortage of boss battles in this game, but the lowered difficulty since Hacker's Memory renders most of them irreparably boring in my opinion. If status moves aren't potent enough, it's just a matter of whittling down the enemies' health - and they sure have a lot of it. I will stick to my original approach and highlight any meaningful lineup changes compared to previous recordings, showing who I have scanned and how they can be of help.
Sistermon Noir (Ciel in the NA version) & Sistermon Blanc (both in Awakened forms) is definitely one of the more interesting fights in the run so far, as enemies demonstrate a surprisingly good grasp over strategy when dishing out damage and especially when surviving. Healing, blocking fatal attacks and preventing all support skills with Support End, the Sistermon skillsets necessitate focussing all initial fire on Blanc first. Sistermon Blanc is Vaccine type, meaning the SuperStarmons will be the best at inflicting harm on her, though they will also suffer every time Noir uses Mickey Bullet (Awake) for effective damage against Data-types. Once Blanc is out of the picture, we can switch in somebody who isn't Virus-weak - the BlackGatomons, our old favourite, are still as good as ever with fixed 150 damage and speed investment. MetalGreymon, who we scanned in the previous battle I showed, is especially effective against Noir, striking her type weakness.
Neither Sistermon can be scanned, and so we won't be able to feature them in our strats ever due to this being a No Digivolution challenge. Only Blanc is all that good, with Protect Wave (Awake) being one of the game's best skills.
Agunimon & Lobomon are another pair of interesting bosses. As competent Champion Digimon, they also happen to be unscannable and are less powerful offensively with their shared ability increasing speed at the expense of attack. This does mean they'll act a lot, but they're unlikely to endanger us in spite of the sheer number of turns (after Kentaurosmon in the original Cyber Sleuth game, it's very hard to surprise us with that alone).
One of the first actions will be Lobomon's Breath of Valor (not learnt naturally by actual Lobomon), which increases the foes' evasion. Employing an offensive duo of Infermon and SkullGreymon, both of whom can lower enemy defence fairly consistently with their attacks, we hit a wall of our attacks missing. Digitamamon, notable for having a move that cuts enemy HP by 15% that lets it stay relevant even as the enemies get stronger, is a quick support mon in this fight, able to increase hit rate with item magic whenever it doesn't need to heal, which is most of the time.
A single Hit boost is still not enough to guarantee attacks to connect, which you can see with SkullGreymon whiffing his Acceleration Boost-powered special after one buff. Two buffs seem to fix the issue. Agunimon has an Acceleration Boost of his own, but his attack doesn't really hurt, nor can he strike anybody supereffectively - both the bosses are Free type.
We're able to Digivolve into the bosses when the battle is over. You can imagine how useful that is to us.
