If I am correct I believe this is the second scotty map of the set. So far it's probably my favourite map from Haste, as the gameplay is not too challenging yet also not too smooth sailing. It's got a kind of balance to it that I like.
I looked at Player Rayziik's run, and with good rng in certain fights it's very much possible to beat it. The first two fights were done slow (first and secret). If you get super lucky you can clear the secret fight at the 12 second mark (i'd imagine it's probably the most optimal time) considering you will need extremely good movement, and the enemies to all be lined up together. Most attempts I was clearing it around the 16-17 second mark.
The first fight you can clean up quickly if the cyberdemon is a good sport at infighting. The nuisance is the mancubi in the other cave. They can sometimes get stuck when you teleport through, rendering 100% kills impossible if they slip through the cracks. Most of the time the problem with the fight is the beginning. Several of my attempts have ended with the cyberdemon getting stuck in the corner of the cave, meaning that I cannot grab all cells nor can I escape. The roaming vile can be a pain too if it decides roam outside it's comfort zone. Other than that, the fight isn't too bad. With good infighting you can escape the room with 1 min 20 seconds on the timer.
The second fight is slightly more annoying than the first one. There's not really much you can do in terms of saving time. You can get the cyberdemon to infight but most of the time it'll turn it's attention back to you. Afterall, revenants aren't too tanky. The chaingun ambush at the start is a pain especially when 2 rockets isn't enough to kill them all. It then usually means you have to endure some chip damage, making the fight after less manageable. In this specific run, I forgot to press the switch holding the key, meaning I lost a lot of precious time.
The last fight isn't too bad in terms of choking points. If the cyberdemons are angrier at you than their fellow comrades, then the fight can get ugly, but I feel as if Scotty purposefully made some of these barons turn the other direction, in order to promote infighting as an optimal way of securing the fight. The arch vile group at the lift switch can be quite menacing, and I have had one unfortunate run end there. You need to get pretty lucky with infighting with this particular area in order to do it quick enough.
The end sequence really isn't worth mentioning, nor should it be any threat.
Overall, this map is really effective. I would definitely come back to try and bag a record, however i'm gonna need a little more patience first before I attempt to do so. The next map on this set is a lot harder and also requires good infighting. Wish me luck!
