In reality this actually took something along the lines of 400 attempts for a first clear, however I reset the attempt count solely because I hadn't touched this map in so long. Originally I was going to release an old demo for this map I had, but it was so awful that I just held onto it and never released it.

This map really isn't too bad apart from 2 things. Firstly is pressing the switch the cyberdemon is guarding. I kid you not, this was the main reason I was dying in these failed attempts, there was rarely ever a chance that it would attack the enemies, rather it would just attack me instead. Some attempts I succeeded although it was quite the gamble, and other times I managed to get the stupid cyber to infight. I feel like this method is really down to stalling and a bit of RNG, considering you need to have enough enemies alive.Speaking of which, the roaming cyber can further make this a pain, by just absolutely nuking all the imps and fighting with all the revenants. So just pray that it infights with the right kind of monsters, otherwise you're in for a pray fest.

I personally feel some people may struggle with taking down the revenant buildup when you enter the monster's mouth. I'm not talking about the revenants that are in the mouth, but more the revenants you lure out of the structure when you go to clear the hell knights you left in the other room. The best strat I have is to do a specific dance. Slowly move across the back wall of the mouth as the revenants fire at you. When you've gained enough homing missiles, run to the opposite wall and then come back out to repeat the process. Rarely you'll get hit on by the non-homing missiles, and really it's quite a neat trick to pull off since it saves a lot of time having to clean up.

Finally, there's the revenant horde. In my opinion, the hardest part of the map is here. I did the zero master strategy, in which you get close to the revenants to get them in their chase state, that way they won't ever fire a missile. You may need to tank the missiles although to pull this off. When you've done this for enough time, you can shift past into one of the tower sections. From there it's really peekaboo shooting, however you've got an arch vile up your back side. It's all about taking extra caution and just trying to get through as many bony boys as possible. In this attempt, the arch vile was especially aggressive.

Really there's no other threats in this map. Although this time is mediocre at best, I doubt i'll get anywhere near faster than this. I'm quite worried about what others have said about the later maps in this set. Many people say Sunder really begins at map 3, let us see if they're right!
