Ultimate Doom, I prefer it to the original 1993 release honestly because it has the 4rth episode and the original 3 episodes were updated to reflect upon the V1.666 update, I always go back to play it more then Doom 2 because it was my first experience with Doom, It warms my heart when I see people still making wads for Ultimate Doom.
Released on March 30th 2011 by RottKing and Ralphis, Double Impact is a 9 level replacement for Episode 1 of Ultimate Doom, It later won a cacoaward in 2011 and was honored as the FIRST Player Made wad to be added to the official addons for the unity port, That should tell you the importance of Double Impact.
The big thing about this wad is the mapping which is similar to Episode 1 except with a impressive stary skybox, The ammo issues do give me pause recommending Double Impact as you'll need to use it careful and non berserk punch enemies when low, Despite that, I enjoy Double Impact for being a wad that makes Ultimate Doom look fresh and giving me a excuse to listen to the custom music.
