Knee-Deep In The Dead, Doom's first episode and the first levels that new players ever saw in 1993, I still can remember when I play this game at only 2 years old just like Duke 3d so older shooters are in my blood and in my dna and in my jargon, I've seen wads over the years that attempt to remake the classic episode 1 but they all had to stand on the shoulder of this 2004 Cacoaward winner.
Released by Team TNT's ReX Claussen on September 9th 2004, Phobos Revisited is a 9 map-set that follows the build style and dna of Knee-Deep in the Dead all to a 10-T, Phobos Revisited was built for sourceports but also vanilla Doom to demonstrate features that couldn't have been possible back in 1993, Every set piece that made the episode so famous are nearly 100 percent perfect in Phobos Revisited, The ammo placement could be better but I think Phobos Revisited is a sleeper hit because of its ability to mimic the original game so closely.
